Follow you to the Grave yard.

[He's feeling sappy. Especially since thanks to work he missed Valentine's Day. Work is a hell of a thing and he's not entirely sure Lilith - in her condition - would want the traditional trappings of a commercialized holiday.

He appreciates that however. The commercialized aspect. How people wasted time and money for it. Demons were designed to push people into stupid decisions, into falling to pieces and he...well. He did enjoy the thought of people splurging. It was a lustful ingenious holiday.

So maybe flowers. Sure. But he researched trying to pick...witchy flowers. He felt positive about that. He didn't feel uncomfortable looking into pagan practices either. Counting that as a win, Gabriel considered his options and went with a mandrake and a bouquet of calla lillies. Somehow a tribute to who he was and who he was now. Setting them up on the table along with a nice meal (a rare one too. Deer heart, sauteed. And Mushrooms.

He's been working on trying not to be warm and fluffy and cute around her for fear of angelic emotions stressing her out but - seeing her arrive, his smile is warm.]

We missed valentine's day and I thought. Well. I'd make it up to you. To both of you.

( had it not been everywhere lilith wouldnt have realised that it was valentine's. it was a mottal tradition from their history and-- even though she was wildly in love she'd still never particularly cared for it. it had never stopped gabriel's enjoyment and by this point she just allowed it.

this year she was just tired. pregnancy tired. there were days where she could still just about hide it and really those ones turned out to be the most tiring of them, a day like today, but she wanted her family to be safe.

so she doesn't expect him to already be home when she steps into the kitchen, her hair still a little damp from the shower, falling much straighter as it dries, expression a little amused at his words )

You don't have to make anything up. ( this is one time she's not mad that he's missed something ) But-- tell me what you've done.
